It's as easy as 1,2,3

Do you have a distinct way of doing things? Or do you have specialized processes in your industry? Let me take you through my three-step process and create an Instruction Map that deeply resonates with your audience.

We start with kickoff session in which we dive deep into your world, brainstorm ideas and uncover a unique angle.

The next step is to sketch out a rough outline that captures the key steps –collaboratively refining until it's right.

I soak up your design standards and create a custom map that feels like a natural extension of your brand.

The resulting artwork can then be used in many different ways: Posters, t-shirts, banners, decals, you name it.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?

This can vary as well, but usually, you should plan for 4-6 weeks from start to finish. It all depends on the state of your brand and how quickly we can establish the vision for your map.

How much does it cost?

It depends on a couple of things: How involved is the discovery process? How much help do you need with establishing the concept? How complicated is the design? For that reason, one price does not fit all.

What if my brand isn't well defined?

Strengthening your brand is one of the great benefits of an Instruction Map, so you won't get much value from it without a well-defined brand. In those types of situations, I typically suggest an extended engagement in which we position your company and develop a cohesive design system. You can learn more on this topic at my company's website.

So I send a contact request, what's the next step?

Once you send a request, I'll get in touch with you via email to schedule an introduction call. At this stage, I just want to get to know your company and learn about the process you'd like to depict. Then, I assemble a proposal to capture the scope of work, timeline and budget.
